Camino Seguro (www.safepassage.org) is a non-profit based out of the US which serves the children and families living in the Guatemala City dump. We sponsor Juan Antonio, and our monthly donation provides him with education and a hope that he would not otherwise find in his situation.

International Justice Mission
(Isaiah 1:17): Seek justice, protect the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.
This is IJM's (www.ijm.org) core sentiment. Founded in 1997 in response to the Rwandan genocide, IJM works around the world seeking justice: combating sex trafficking, slavery (yes, there are still at least a million people enslaved, primarily in developing countries), sexual violence, illegal property seizure, and sundry other injustices. They provide a voice for the poor and powerless.
YSC
YSC (Young Survival Coalition) is a nationwide organization which was created to help identify and address the unique concerns of young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
World Help
This organization covers lots of bases. Endeavoring to show Christ's love, they have many opportunities to help those in need. We sponsor two children in Uganda, Annamarie and Amir, and this provides them education and nourishment.
They also have a host of other projects around the world: AIDS assistance in Africa, feeding centers in Guatemala, medical clinics, various child sponsorship opportunities, church-planting, and many other ways to make a difference.
Garden of Hope
Garden of Hope
The Garden of Hope (www.justfoodinc.org) reaches out to women who have become trapped in sex trafficking in SE Asia. Some women are forced, some find they just have no other options to support themselves and their children. TGOH provides women with other marketable skills, particularly focusing on culinary training, and also offers education and additional care for the women and their children.
